Elon Musk wields Javier Mileis Chainsaw at CPAC 25 to signal government cuts
Elon Musk appeared at a conservative conference and used a chainsaw given to him by Argentinian President Javier Milei as a symbol of cutting government spending. He pledged to reduce government spending and endorsed an audit of the Federal Reserve. He criticized Democratic policies and immigration policies that allowed one million people into the US on two-year work permits. The chainsaw was engraved with "Viva la libertad, carajo" which translates to "Long live liberty, damn it". Musk referred to it as the "chainsaw for bureaucracy." He also mentioned a supposed concern from El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele for his safety.
