Big News: Canary Capitals Litecoin Spot ETF Listed on DTCC Website

Canary Capital's Litecoin spot ETF (ticker: LTCC) has been listed on the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) website. This listing is a necessary step for the ETF to begin trading, as the DTCC handles clearing and custody for US securities. It does not, however, guarantee the ETF's launch as SEC approval is still pending. Canary Capital filed for the ETF in October 2024, alongside similar filings from Grayscale and CoinShares. Bloomberg analysts estimate a 90% chance of approval, while Polymarket platforms show an 85% chance. Some polls predict a 52% likelihood of approval by July 3rd, 2025. The DTCC clarifies that their listing includes both active and pre-launch ETFs and trading can only commence after regulatory approvals.
