Elon Musk's X post featuring an image of himself with the text "The Dogefather" led to a significant price increase in several cryptocurrencies with "Dogefather" in their name. The Dogefather (DOGEFATHER) token increased by 122% to $0.0015, its highest price since late January 2025. Another token, also called The DogeFather (DOGEFATHER), rose by 137% to $0.0040. New "Dogefather" tokens were also created and saw rapid price increases. The image Musk posted was digitally altered; the original showed Argentinian President Javier Milei gifting Musk a chainsaw at a conference. This event was related to Musk's role in the US Department of Government Efficiency, where he aims to reduce government spending.
