Indian man arrested for purchasing and distributing drugs using crypto
An Indian national, Mohammed Shahbaz, was arrested in Gurugram, Haryana, for using cryptocurrency to buy and distribute LSD. He allegedly bought 2.7 grams of LSD designed as children's tattoo stickers from a website called Bioness accessed through the Tor browser, paying with cryptocurrency. The drugs were intended for distribution at high-profile parties in the Gurugram area. Shahbaz, a photographer from Kolkata, was arrested on February 19th and is being held in custody for four days. A case has been filed against him under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. The investigation is ongoing and authorities are working to identify Shahbaz's accomplices.
