Former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao commented on a Montana bill proposing a local Bitcoin reserve, stating Bitcoin is unavoidable. This bill follows similar legislation passed in Utah, Oklahoma, and Arizona. Zhao believes acquiring Bitcoin is inevitable, comparing it to using the internet or money, and suggests the question isn't if, but when to buy. He mentioned his prior donation of 150 BNB (then worth $100,000) to victims of a pump-and-dump scheme involving a coin promoted by Argentinian president Javier Milei. The recipient, a university student, added $50,000 of their own funds and later returned the BNB to Zhao with increased value. Montana's House Bill No. 420 seeks to create a localized version of President Trump's proposed US Strategic Bitcoin Reserve, which is gaining momentum.
