Ripple, DLD, Ctrl Alt Collaborate For Dubais Real Estate Tokenisation
Ripple has partnered with the Dubai Land Department (DLD) and Ctrl Alt, a London-based fintech company, to advance real estate tokenization in Dubai. This collaboration marks the first instance of a government real estate registration authority in the Middle East tokenizing property title deeds on a public blockchain using the XRP Ledger. Ripple will provide institutional-grade custody technology to secure tokenized property title deeds. Ctrl Alt, licensed by Dubai's Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (VARA), will use Ripple's technology as its core tokenization engine, making it the first in the UAE to offer issuer-based services. This partnership follows a previous collaboration in May 2025 involving Ripple, the DLD, Ctrl Alt, and PRYPCO to pilot Prypco Mint, a tokenized real estate investment platform allowing investments in fractional real estate starting from Dh 2000 (approximately $500). Ripple's custody network now spans Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America.
