Tokenized Assets Arrive on Tezos L2 as Midas Joins Etherlink
Midas, an asset tokenization platform, is integrating with Etherlink, a layer-2 blockchain built on Tezos, to bring tokenized assets to the platform. This collaboration aims to create secure and transparent financial systems. Midas has already launched products like mBASIS and mTBILL, and is introducing mMEV and mRe7YIELD, which track yield strategies from MEV Capital and Re7 Capital respectively. While Midas reports a TVL of approximately $350 million, DefiLlama indicates around $190 million. Etherlink, compatible with Ethereum's Virtual Machine, offers lower transaction costs and faster confirmation times. Tezos's TVL has increased significantly from $1.45 million on March 1st to over $45 million currently. Etherlink supports various use cases, including gaming, NFTs, and cross-chain liquidity.
