Chainlink Launches Blockchain Scorecard to Track US State Crypto Adoption
Chainlink, in collaboration with the Blockchain Association, has launched "Tokenized in America," a tool that ranks all 50 U.S. states based on their progress in adopting blockchain technology. The initiative aims to highlight state-level efforts in building blockchain infrastructure and promoting tokenized financial assets. The ranking system, called the Blockchain Scorecard, evaluates states across six categories, including legislative support, blockchain pilots, and workforce concentration. Texas, Utah, and Arizona are identified as leading states, demonstrating strong activity in blockchain pilots and crypto-friendly legislation. Currently, 36% of U.S. states have created pro-crypto task forces, and 22% have experimented with blockchain pilots. Chainlink believes that state-level action is crucial for broader adoption of tokenized assets and for the U.S. to become a leading hub for tokenized asset issuance, potentially defining global financial leadership in Web3.
