Nvidia gains fresh access to a huge AI market
Nvidia is regaining access to the Chinese AI market with its H20 chips, which have been tailored to meet U.S. trade regulations. CEO Jensen Huang praised China's open-source AI development, noting its contribution to global AI progress. Nvidia is preparing to ship H20 chips to China and introduce a new RTX PRO graphics card for digital twin applications. Bank of America estimates AI funding in China will increase by 48% this year, reaching approximately $98 billion, which could benefit Nvidia. Tencent is reportedly applying to purchase these chips. Huang also highlighted that over 1.5 million Chinese developers are using Nvidia's platforms, contributing to the country's rapid innovation.
