Ripple Joins Forces with Ctrl Alt For Middle East Custody Push
Ripple has partnered with Ctrl Alt to expand its digital asset custody services in the United Arab Emirates, specifically supporting the Dubai Land Department's (DLD) Real Estate Tokenization Project. This project involves issuing tokenized property title deeds on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). Ctrl Alt, having secured a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license in Dubai, will use Ripple's custody technology to securely store digital assets related to the tokenized properties. The DLD project aims to modernize property investment by increasing transparency, enabling fractional ownership, and broadening market access, making the real estate market more inclusive. Ctrl Alt has tokenized over $325 million worth of assets as of July 2025. This partnership builds on Ripple's increasing presence in the UAE, following its earlier licensing as a blockchain-enabled payments provider and the approval of its stablecoin, RLUSD, in Dubai.
