Binance, the world's largest crypto exchange by trading volume, is launching an airdrop program for Caldera (ERA), a new altcoin built on the Ethereum network. Caldera is designed to help developers create layer-2 scaling solutions for Ethereum, making transactions faster and cheaper. Binance's HODLer Airdrops program will reward users who hold Binance's native token, BNB, with ERA tokens based on past BNB balances. Caldera aims to create an ecosystem of interconnected and customizable chains, allowing developers to easily build interoperable rollups that improve Ethereum's performance.
