XRP Futures Set CME Record: $235 Million Traded In One Day
XRP futures trading on the CME Group, a major derivatives marketplace, reached a new daily high with $235 million traded in a single day. This milestone, achieved on July 11th, involved over 9,100 contracts, representing 82 million XRP coins. Since its launch in May, total XRP futures trading on CME has surpassed $1.6 billion. While CME is considered a platform favored by institutional traders, suggesting increased institutional interest, overall XRP futures volume across all exchanges has decreased by more than 40% in the last 24 hours, but daily volume still amounted to $8.4 billion. Despite this dip, XRP maintains positive funding rates, reflecting continued positive market sentiment. The price of XRP has increased by over 24% in the last week, reaching $2.95.
