Binance Research Survey Shows 95% of Latin American Crypto Users Plan to Buy More in 2025

A recent Binance Research survey of over 10,000 crypto users in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico revealed that 95% plan to increase their crypto holdings by 2025. 40.1% intend to buy more within three months, 15.3% within six months, and 39.7% within a year, while only 4.9% don't plan to invest further this year. Latin America's crypto adoption grew by 116% in 2024, now boasting 55 million users, representing almost 10% of global crypto users. Factors driving this growth include rising asset prices, regulatory progress, and new products like spot Bitcoin ETFs, with Brazil recently approving a spot XRP ETF. Half of the surveyed users have been involved with crypto for over a year, primarily motivated by potential returns, financial freedom, portfolio diversification, privacy, and asset protection.
