Polygon Labs CEO sees Bitcoin hitting $250K, citing its simplicity and scarcity
Polygon Labs CEO Marc Boiron predicts Bitcoin could reach $250,000 due to its fixed supply and anticipated growth in demand. He believes Bitcoin is currently a lower-risk investment due to upcoming regulations. Following a $1.5 billion hack on the Bybit exchange attributed to North Korea's Lazarus group, Bitcoin's price dropped to under $97,000 before recovering to $96,581, representing a 1.36% 24-hour increase. Ether also initially fell by almost 4% to below $2,700 but later rebounded to $2,774, a 5% increase over 24 hours. Over $500 million in liquidations were reported on Friday.
