Bitcoin Not to Be 'Lumped Together' With Crypto: Czech Central Bank Chief Michl
Czech National Bank Governor Ales Michl supports adding bitcoin to the bank's balance sheet, differentiating it from other crypto assets. He believes bitcoin should be viewed separately from the broader crypto market, which will continue to experience both successes and failures. Michl's recent social media post follows recent negative events in the memecoin market. Last month, Michl proposed a study on adding alternative assets, including bitcoin, to the central bank's balance sheet. This proposal was approved, and is currently in the initial analysis stage. Michl encourages studying bitcoin's technology, believing it will strengthen central banks.
