EToro Secures MiCA License From Cyprus to Offer Crypto Services Across EEA
eToro has been granted a license by the Cyprus Securities Exchange Commission under the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulations. This allows eToro to offer cryptocurrency trading and custody services across the 27 EU member states, as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway. The MiCA regulation requires companies to obtain a crypto asset service provider license. eToro joins other licensed exchanges like Bitpanda, OKX, and Crypto.com. This adds to eToro's expanding global presence, following licenses obtained in New York in 2023 and the UK in 2022.
