Ethereum L1 Monad Joins Forces With Near-Based Orderly Network for DeFi Boost

Monad, a new Ethereum-compatible blockchain, is launching its testnet and partnering with Orderly Network, a decentralized exchange platform built on the Near blockchain. This partnership aims to improve decentralized finance (DeFi) activity. Orderly Network connects different blockchains, including Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Base, Mantle, and Near, to provide shared access to trading opportunities. Orderly Network works with about 20 market makers, including Wintermute, Selini, and Riverside. Monad previously raised $225 million in funding in April 2024. The Monad testnet launch will allow developers to test applications and potentially receive airdropped tokens.
