BTC dips to $86k for the first since November amid market sell-off
Bitcoin's price dropped to $86,000, its lowest point in three months, before recovering slightly to $88,752. This drop coincided with a broader cryptocurrency market downturn that pushed the total market capitalization below $3 trillion. Bitcoin is down nearly 4% in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, the presale for a new project called Bitcoin Pepe has raised over $3.5 million. Bitcoin Pepe aims to create a layer-2 network on the Bitcoin blockchain specifically designed for memecoins. The project's native token, $BPEP, is currently priced at $0.0255 in the fifth stage of its presale and will increase to $0.0268 in the sixth stage.
